Hi Ashley! Thanks so much for letting us shine the ProHealth spotlight on you this week. What’s your position at ProHealth Physical Therapy and Pilates and how long have you been here?
I’m a Physical Therapist Assistant and Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher. I’ve been a part of the ProHealth staff for 2.5 years
What does your typical day at ProHeath look like?
As a PT assistant and teacher, I see a combination of physical therapy clients and wellness clients. Currently, I teach a twice weekly Pilates Mat Plus Class.
Out of everything you do, what’s your favorite thing about your job?
My favorite thing about my job is the variety of people that I get to work with each day. The ProHealth environment encourages staff to use our creativity with client treatment. I really enjoy how this makes each day and each session different. I believe this also benefits the client, continually keeping the sessions fresh and fun.
Share the number one problem you solve for clients and patients at ProHealth?
We solve several types of problems for our clients. I really strive to improve their confidence and how they move their bodies. I love how Pilates teaches students to focus on breathing, posture, and connecting with their bodies. I really enjoy seeing clients discover this and bring it into their daily life.
Fav class or service at ProHealth and why?
My favorite class at ProHealth is the Mat class – I love Mat Pilates! I also treat a lot of women’s health and pelvic floor related issues. This is a true passion of mine and I’m truly grateful to work in a clinic that offers these services to women in our community.
