Committed To Your Health
Physical therapy is enhanced using the fundamental principles of Pilates in our fully equipped studio.
When patients come to ProHealth in pain, we take it seriously. Whether it’s rehabilitating an injury, managing pain, dealing with dizziness, learning to walk again after an amputation, or even treating pelvic problems like incontinence, ProHealth has professionally trained physical therapists. Our PTs and PTAs treat with compassion and a high standard of care.
Our PTs are cross-trained in Pilates, which sets them apart from other medical professionals. Patients at ProHealth graduate with some basic knowledge of Pilates, allowing many to begin private instruction or classes to continue to build core strength and balance. While under PT care, a patient may receive healing modalities like ultrasound therapy, dry needling, and a variety of muscle work and exercises to improve their health outcomes. While other clinics may double book, each patient at ProHealth can expect that they will have one-on-one time with a physical therapist or physical therapy assistant. And the treatment will always be customized for the patient’s situation.
Choose The Lessons & Classes Right for You
At ProHealth Physical Therapy and Pilates Studio, a variety of Pilates lessons and classes are available based on skill level and priorities. Beginners usually try a private Pilates lesson or two prior to joining a class, and ProHealth offers a special package to make that transition easy. Many of our clients like the one-on-one attention and focus that private Pilates lessons allow, and they book a standard time with with their private Pilates instructor at ProHealth. Some clients prefer to exercise with friends, so ProHealth also offers duets and trios in the studio. For those who have tried Pilates before and know they want a class, there are many options throughout the week.
Pilates lessons and classes combine balance and strength training with posture, balance, and accessible movement. Our clients find that when they do Pilates they age more gracefully, increase their core strength and flexibility. They are less likely to fall, experience back pain, or exercise-based injury. We’ve had Pilates clients as old as 90 enjoy ProHealth Physical Therapy and Pilates Studio.
