Thanks so much for letting us shine the ProHealth spotlight on you this week. What’s your position at ProHealth Physical Therapy and Pilates and how long have you been here?
Hi! I’m Ashley Gowen and recently joined the ProHealth team as Officer Manager. I started at the end of Nov. 2021, right before the holiday season.
What does your typical day at ProHealth look like?
My days at ProHealth start by verifying insurances for client appointments and obtaining authorizations. I work diligently to maintain smooth operations for all of our staff to the best of my ability.
Out of everything you do, what’s your favorite thing about your job?
My favorite thing about ProHealth is the people. We have awesome Patients and Clients! I love seeing them come in everyday and interacting with them. The people who come through the doors at ProHealth are the best. It’s a great community of people.
Share the number one problem you solve for clients and patients at ProHealth?
Understanding insurance benefits can be confusing at times. I enjoy helping patients navigate this and assist them in getting coverage to cover additional visits. Helping them continue their care at ProHealth and knowing how this impacts their health is important to me.
Fav class or service at ProHealth and why?
Too many to choose from! ProHealth offers something for everyone at every phase of their health. Every class and service we offer inspires our Staff, Patients and clients to be at their best health!

Ashley Gowen is a wife, mom and the Office Manager at ProHealth Physical Therapy and Pilates. She’s proudly married for 17 years to an amazing husband who also serves as a Lieutenant Firefighter of Peachtree City. Together we have 2 amazing children, Wyatt (15) and Kayla (12). We live in Newnan Georgia where we also run our own business, DBG Creations, that makes custom pieces from local sources and all handmade. We enjoy being outdoors and being with our friends and family every chance we get. I came to ProHealth after leaving a job as a Special Needs Paraprofessional in Coweta County. ProHealth has expanded my knowledge and helped me to continue to do the thing I enjoy most in life – helping people be at their best.
